Pocketful of Sunshine

Natasha Bedingfield ROCKS!Winter is the loveliest time for me. I say that because it’s all I can say about the months between October and March. It’s simply lovely. Perhaps because I am an artist and no matter how cold it gets or how tragic things become, you can always look out over a dead landscape and feel alive.

Last winter I was in love with Natasha Bedingfield’s first album, Unwritten. This winter I am in love with what I’ve heard so far of Natasha’s latest album called Pocketful of Sunshine. She is so positive and yet angry in a calmly sad way. Her voice is so clear, but has that little rough edge on certain tracks. She is the most uplifting singer I have welcomed into my world since Anastacia.

I have had so many love affairs to Natasha’s music. It’s the perfect theme song for a smoldering relationship in the dead cold of winter.
