Roseanne: Older but Just As Wise

I was visiting one of our favorite divas tonight, Roseanne Barr. It’s so crazy to see her so much older. We’re all dealing with age with each passing moment. I suppose Roseanne has just always remained untouchable to me. I’ve always thought she was awesome and ageless.

Her site is full of fabulous things. Her blog is awesome. She really is a major player as the center of the universe and definitely an alien like the rest of us fabulous creatures.

Her vlogs and random statements are very pushy. I have always enjoyed her most because no matter what happens she’s always so pushy! Even when she doesn’t intend to be so. Roseanne is naturally pushy. I like that.

I remember that in my household growing up I wasn’t particularly allowed to watch Roseanne, the show. Thankfully I grew up in a household where rules were almost expected to be broken. That is what rules are for after all. I think my parents always knew that in the back of their heads. They felt obligated to raise me right but hoped all the while that I would break down all the boundaries they set.

I have.

Later, I recall absolutely adoring The Roseanne Show, which was a talk show. She was so cosmic and inspirational.  Looking back on it I never thought it got much notice or had a fanbase, but reading about it now it sounds like it was quite the show. That’s good. It deserved that!

Roseanne is awesome. We should all still be listening to her.
