Darren Hayes is Gay, Finally

I’ve waited half my life for this. Darren Hayes, ex-front man of Savage Garden and all-around amazing musician, has finally casually stepped out of the closet on Myspace. Introducing “his fella” in his photo gallery. It’s never been that much of a secret of Darren’s orientation. He just refused to make a big deal about it. It’s just that not saying one way or another dashed our hopes of ever being swept away by this knight in shining beat box.

Darren Hayes has come out with a lot of amazing music since his famed Savage Garden days. His 2004 release, The Tension and the Spark, all but became the theme song and background music to all of my days living in California. He has just released his latest album titled This Delicate Thing We’ve Made. The single sounds amazing. I can’t wait to hear the rest.

Darren has good music. Darren is hot. His fella is damn lucky.
